Eldorado audit reveals violations

Rospotrebnadzor, Russia’s Federal Service of customers’ rights protection and human well-being surveillance, has initiated 13 administrative cases against domestic retailer Eldorado. An inspection in six stores has revealed a number of violations, such as missing or misleading price tags, lack of product information in Russian as well as lack of special marking for second-hand goods. The audit also exposed goods past their expiry dates, such as washing powders and other detergents.
