Euroset to offer positions to all Alt Telecom employees

12 December 2011

Russian mobile phone retailer Euroset has offered all 2,500 employees of recently-acquired Alt Telecom to work for it. Euroset also plans to continue some of the services offered by Alt Telecom and that are not available in its outlets, such as online photo printing in which users can upload photos online and collect the prints from a store. However, some other services will be discarded. Euroset bought Alt Telecom earlier this month for USD70 million, acquiring its 520-store network which is set to be rebranded under the Beeline banner of its major shareholder VimpelCom by March 2012.
