Lenta to expand again

5 March 2010

Following the sale of approximately 35% of Russian hypermarket chain Lenta to TPG and VTB Capital during the autumn of 2009, Lenta is again investing in Russia and has started construction of a hypermarket in the city of Pskov (north-west Russia). The store will have a sales area of about 9,000 square metres, which is lower than standard 11,000 square metres Lenta hypermarkets.
