X5 to restructure product range

In the light of the new Russian trade law which has come into force on Feb this year, X5 is going to reduce and restructure its product range, CEO Lev Khasis revealed. This will result in a reduction in supplier numbers. The retailer may co-operate with brand manufacturers and producers of fast moving goods. The company also plans to increase the market share of private label products in its assortment to 25%.
