DIXY Group announces an 11% revenue growth for January 2010

Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers in the Russian Federation - has announced revenue growth of 11% in Russian rubles (16% in USD) for the month of January 2010 over the same period last year.

Dixy Group’s total revenue for January of 2010 amounted to RUR 4,813 million, representing an 11% increase over RUR 4,351 million for the first month of 2009.3 In USD terms revenue increased by 16% to 160.7 million, compared to USD 138.0 million for the first month of 2009.

Retail revenue from Dixy for the month of January 2010 amounted to RUR 4,063 million (USD 135.7 million), which represents a 10.8% growth in RUR (16.6% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Retail revenue from Megamart for the month of January 2010 amounted to RUR 544 million (USD 18.2 million), which represents an 18.7% growth in RUR (25.0% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Retail revenue from Minimart for the month January 2010 amounted to RUR 162 million (USD 5.4 million), which represents a 5.3% growth in RUR (10.8% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 44,4 million (USD 1.5 million).
