Cremonini opens Russian meat plant to serve McDonald’s

According to The Moscow Times, Italian company Cremonini Group has opened a meat plant that will produce hamburger patties for McDonald’s in Russia. The plant, located in Odintsovo, Moscow region, will produce 25,000 metric tonnes of hamburger patties a year and up to 80,000 hamburger patties an hour for McDonald's restaurants, using domestically produced beef. The capacity will be increased to 50,000 metric tonnes in the future, Cremonini said.
