X5 Retail Group plans to open mini-Pyaterochka stores

Within this spring X5 Retail Group plans to start out in Moscow, Yekaterinburg and some others towns of Russia 30-40 mini-Pyaterochka stores. The store’s space will be in 2-3 times less then in usual discounter Pyaterochka — 120-180 sq. meters. According to X5 release, the installation cost for one store will be around 10-12 mln. rubles. The prices for food products in mini-Pyaterochka will be the same as in a big one. Day’s sales are expected about 150 000 rubles.
