Rewe Billa reports revenue rise of 40% in Russia

Rewe-owned Billa Russia reported that revenue rose by 40% to RUB12 billion (USD482.502 million) in 2008. The retailer opened 20 supermarkets in Russia in 2008. The company’s turnover is expected to exceed RUB18.3 billion (USD649 million) in 2009.
